Our working season at Ceres Farm is from April through to October each year.
Most positions are seasonal and therefore casual jobs. Jobs include: picking, packing, grading, operation of machinery, forklift operations and more.
Yes, for most positions.
In general, no, however all employees are required to have a HortCard prior to working on farm. For more information please click here. Ceres Farm can train you in most roles, however this depends on the role. Please keep in mind that all roles are physically demanding so applicants need to be physically fit. Let us know if you have any experience driving a tractor or if you hold a forklift license.
Ceres Farm is 3200km from Perth and 850km from Darwin.
No, most workers live in and around Kununurra.
No, you will access to a vehicle or carpool.
You will be paid per hour, in accordance with the Horticulture Award 2020.
Ceres Farm is 15km (15 min drive) from Kununurra.
