Ceres Farm (Gray Australia Pty Ltd, Kununurra, Western Australia) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information this website collects, how we use it and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect and why

Information you give us through our forms. When you use the contact, produce enquiry or employment forms, we receive what you type: your name, email address, the subject or job type you choose, your message, and, for job applications, the CV or résumé you attach. We use this only to respond to your enquiry or consider your application.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we use analytics tools to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. These tools record things such as the pages you visit, how long you stay, the approximate region you are visiting from, the type of device and browser you use, and how you move around a page (clicks, scrolling and taps). This information is collected in a way that does not identify you by name.

Analytics tools we use

• Google Analytics, provided by Google, which uses cookies to count visits and show us which pages and features are used. Google’s privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
• Microsoft Clarity, provided by Microsoft, which records how visitors interact with pages (clicks, scrolling and movement) and may create anonymised session replays and heat maps. Text you type into forms is masked and is not recorded. Microsoft’s privacy statement is at privacy.microsoft.com.

You can also limit or block cookies in your browser settings. The website still works with cookies turned off.

Who we share information with

We do not sell or rent personal information. Form submissions are delivered to us by our website host, Netlify, and then stored in our Microsoft 365 email system. Analytics data is processed by Google and Microsoft as described above. These providers may store data outside Australia. We do not share your details with anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to deal with them. Job applications are kept for the current and following season so we can contact you if a suitable position comes up, after which they are deleted. Analytics data is kept by the analytics providers for a limited period, currently 14 months for Google Analytics.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
